Nibu is a slice of paradise. It has stunning views and was so cute. loved Gretal! She’s amazing, so sweet, so kind, and so caring. She is a fantastic cook as well. All the food was delicious. She also introduced me to her family and gave me a few rides. One was to get my bus and another to Nimbu after the sun had set. I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with her as well. 10/10

Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.

We loved the location near the city centre but quiet. The comfortable room wit A/C, and the most comfortable bed we have had here in Nicaragua. Also, nice pool to cool off. We had read negative reviews about the hotel being too far away from town but we didn’t think it was a problem at all, a 10 minute walk to the center at most
