The couple who look after the property were very kind and made a delicious dinner. Getting access to the nearby Elephant Park Hotel for breakfast and use of the swimming pool was amazing. Andrew from the hotel was incredible and helped arrange our trips to and from the hotel (free of charge) and our onward journey to Sigiriya after our stay. Would highly recommend staying here!

Very warm welcome by the hosts, absolutely beautiful and well maintained, spacious place with beautiful views.The food was great and facilities excellent. Much as we enjoyed the place, it was the hosts that really made us feel that we were staying with old friends. A short but memorable stay, would love to go back again, recommended with 5 stars!

Dengan pemandangan taman, Green Leaves Garden - Pinnawala terletak di Pinnawala dan mempunyai restoran, lounge berkongsi, bar, taman dan teres. The first stop in Sri Lanka for me, my wife and our 17 months year old was Green Leaves Garden and we can highly recommend it! This was a really good way to get to know Sri Lankan culture. Anushka, the host, is such a nice and genuine person and he will help you with everything. We got to eat wonderful local food cooked by his family (if you eat vegan/vegetarian it's not a problem, in fact the opposite), go on hiking, visited different tempels, did a jeep safari, went to a herbal garden, a biological garden, a tea factory, even visited a funeral and got to know his wonderful family and friends. If you want to see elephants we really recommend you to see them in their natural habitat on a safari instead of visiting other places such as the orphanage (when we did research, several sources witnessed of the elephants being mistreated). Anushka picked us up from the airport and drove us to our next destination in Weligama after seven days. He even helped us with a missing bag from the airport. On our trips we always had interesting conversations about Sri Lankan history and current affairs and he was a professional guide on the different activities. We lived in a "simple" mud house which was very common back in the days. The room was spacious, had three double beds, a refrigerator, bathroom and air conditioner. We were in Sri Lanka for 30 days and spend seven days here and it was a great decision. If you want to get to know the real Sri Lanka, learn about it's culture and get new friendships, this is a great way to do it!

Lata was a fantastic host, super hospitable and made up the most amazing meals. The place is beautiful with a lovely terrace. Very quiet spot. Cannot reccomend enough.

Menawarkan pemandangan taman, Kaba Saradiel adalah penginapan yang terletak di Mawanella, 27km dari Stesen Kereta Api Kandy dan 28km dari Stadium Bogambara. It’s a lovely apartment set on high grounds amidst greenery. I had the upper apartment and it has all the amenities like a home. The manager, Sasila, was helpful and explained about the room features and also the timings the mosquitoes would appear. 🥰 It is a most comfortable stay. One may hear a bit of traffic sometimes but earplugs are available. There are fruit stalls nearby and Mawanella is only 3km away.
