The hotel owner will give you a map with detailed information about Lamu and will also tell you the transportation price in advance for reference. The view from the rooftop tower is great, you can watch the sunrise, the breakfast is delicious, the room is very comfortable, and I had many great conversations with the owner in the evening. I hope the business will continue to improve.

The staff were so helpful and attentive. Amani was a wonderful host and thoughtfully took care of every detail. He even offered to come and get me in town if I was lost and needed help finding my way. The spice cake at tea time was also a highlight❤️

Featuring a swimming pool and tropical gardens, Kijani Hotel is situated on the coast of Lamu Island, along the Indian Ocean. The décor comes with natural handmade furniture, lanterns and ornaments. We loved the position being tight on the beach , the restaurant was also looking over the beach with beautiful cool breezes. The staff are all very friendly and helpful

Incredible space with even better people. First, even before we arrived, communication with the host (Tarik) was impeccable. We always felt we were in good hands and that rang true from the moment we arrived especially with the housekeeper Farid who was absolutely excellent and was on top of every need we might have. I should take a moment also to say that the space itself is STUNNING. Absolutely gorgeous with many, many beautiful details. Truly a hidden gem of Lamu.

Joseph and Mpanzi were very lovely and took good care of me. I enjoyed chatting with them and really felt like I had made new friends by the time I left. The house is large and clean and is well located in Shela. A very comfortable base to explore Lamu and its delights.

Really beautiful. A haven of serenity and calm. Exceptionally kind and helpful staff. When food is requested and cooked to order it’s of higher quality than that in the luxury hotel along the beach.

Everything has been great! Moses has been super helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great and the house is beautiful. The price-quality is really good, so I would definitely recommend it. Terletak 2-minit berjalan kaki dari 18th Century Swahili House Museum, Beytsalam menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, lounge berkongsi dan dapur berkongsi untuk kemudahan anda. WiFi percuma ditawarkan.... There was a problem with the electricity (or AC) in the building when we arrived, but a new place closeby was quickly arranged for us. Other issues we encountered in the new place were quickly addressed as well.
