The house is big and airy; very breezy which tempers the coastal heat and humidity, and quite spacious. It's also quite cool at night. It's clean and well maintained. The location is perhaps the biggest selling point, close to Diani and Kongo beaches, a major supermarket and several restaurants within walking distance. Diana was responsive to our requests.

And the cottage itself is really gorgeous - uniquely decorated and extremely spacious - the pictures don't do it justice. I especially loved the sea-creature themed bottle windows. I also liked knowing that my stay contributed to Reefolution - an organization that is leading coral reef restoration with the local communities. The Cottage is in the Firely Eco Retreat so you have all the amenities you need - restaurant, large pool - and the staff are so friendly and helpful. For divers and snorkelers, you can catch the boat to the Marine Park right from the jetty in front. I highly recommend this place!

The owner himself (Allan) 2. The person managing it (Natasha) and lastly chef 👨‍🍳 John! Literally, my family and I had one of our best times here. While chef John filled our stomaches to the brim😊 with mouth watery food,Natasha provided all the plugs needed for visiting and touring. And then Allan was always there to support in case needed. The place is super clean and made with taste. Honestly, the photos uploaded don't do justice to the place. Yes you have to take off your shoes which I like because it keep the place clean and more hygienic. The beach is a 5-minute walk while Diani Hospital is 10 minutes walk. Literally, all the infrastructure you need is at walking distance. It's more fun when you are a big group/family as the place is spacious.

Great experience with the Chef Humphrey. The food (especially the sea food) was fantastic. The house is huge, clean, and very comfortable. Ideal location for us in a quiet and safe place. Whole our stay was a unique experience. We felt as a royal family. I fully recommend it to anyone who is visiting Kenya.

It was exceptionally well equipped and very clean. The furniture looked new and very comfortable just like the bed. The shower had high pressure and always hot. Ali kept the pool clean and ready for use. The staff were not intrusive so we felt we had complete privacy. I would not hesitate staying again and will recommend to my friends. Thanks for a great stay.

He agreed to late checkout, very good communication, the room was cleaned every two days, close to the beach, comfortable bed, clean sheets. He also provided a guide with useful information.
