We got a top floor room from where the Yokohama Osanbashi pier was visible. The rooms were excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic and just beside the Nihan Odori metro station. Commuting to the Yokohama station was very easy. The breakfast was good. The rooms were big and spacious. The amenities were excellent. The residents lounge area and the gym were a great addition. Overall, very nice breakfast.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. The breakfast was traditional Japanese, very healthy & plentiful. There were a few items I didn’t eat though my husband ate everything. Taz’s mother waitressed ( at the age of 87!) & was always smiling & helpful. 3 small onsens - enough for couples. My husband’s aches & pains disappeared after a dip. Easy walk to centre of town & lovely park. On a weekend both areas are lit up. The park is particularly beautiful.

It allowed us to shower and onsen as a family. The restaurant staff were all so friendly and kind, and they always prepared baby chair and baby bowl and utensils for our toddler. The location is convenient as there is a combini nearby for snacks - the hotel has its own shop too. The room was spacious, though unlike other Ryokans I've stayed at, the mattresses didn't get put away during the day - no biggie though as we didn't spend much time in the room during the day.

Nicely decorated in a traditional Japanese style the building and the bedroom are very cosy. The staff is very kind and always ready to help.
