All we saw was snow and fog/ cloud. Iceland was having a late winter to mid-April.

We could walk to the lava caves, and it was convenient to get to Dettifoss and Húsavík. Would highly recommend staying here.

Watching the aurora dance over the lake was simply unforgettable—the absolute highlight of our entire trip! ✨🌌 The cabin itself was warm, cozy, and beautifully set up—just what you need for a comfortable stop while doing the Ring Road. Our host was very thoughtful and made sure everything was perfect for us. A special mention to the sweet lady at breakfast—she was so kind and took great care of us!
