Chris was a gracious host, he was friendly from the start and a wealth of information. The place exceeded our expectations, the beach below was stunning and very private, many time we had it to ourselves. The small taverna a 15 min walk away made home cooked traditional meals with cheese made in house. The restaurant Chris recommended our last night was the best meal we had on the Island and the setting was in a quaint square in the town a 15 min drive worth every kilometre.

The view from the terrace is just unbeatable !! I strongly recommend to wake up for the sunrise with your coffee just in front of the room

Pyrgos Traditional Village is located near the main port of Agios Kirikos, in Ikaria’s capital. The complex features sea-view villas, and a pool, a garden and a large terrace. Pyrgos is an amazing place - a little paradise! We loved every minute - the pool is perfect - surrounded by greenery and with stunning views. We were upgraded which was a wonderful surprise and spent lots of evenings enjoying the sea view from our balcony. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and took great care of us! We had the occasional cute little visitor (😻) which made our holiday all the more enjoyable 😊 I just can’t wait to return! The walk into the village is about 15-20 mins down a steep hill. We really enjoyed the walk to/from the village for dinner but for some it might be difficult.

House of Light in Ikaria is a beautifully renovated holiday home, just steps from the port and beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t get enough of the stunning sea views and the peaceful atmosphere. Our host was also very welcoming, this is a good choice for a relaxing stay on the 🏝️

Terletak hanya 8.4km dari Koskina Castle, stone house - Evdilos Icaria menyediakan penginapan di Akamatra dengan akses kepada taman, teres, dan juga khidmat bilik. An amazing accommodation! Nikos has done amazing job upgrading this little hut in Droutsoulas village - our stay there was extremely comfortable, as we really enjoyed the front yard, the view, the amazing temperature inside the house (no AC was needed even though we stayed there during a heatwave). One may find informative brochures on the table with places to visit, great tavernas, nice beaches and all the traditional panigiria. I highly recommend spending several days there to enjoy the island. Having a car or motorcycle is a must, as the village is approximately 20 mins from Evdilos, and hitchhiking your way up is not an option, as there are almost no inhabitants in the village any more. The kitchen was also very clean and equipped and I'm definitely going back to spend a few days during the winter, as those mountain views were insane!
