Location is flawless - on a quiet street, but just off the main road. Aluguars stop virtually opposite the property and are very frequent, both going up the Paul Valley and along the coastal road. There is a little mini market just around the corner, open until 20:00. The owner is super - helpful and able to advise on all the best walks in the area. He suggested a much better walk than the one we initially wanted to do; he had maps and suggested places to eat. The room was very comfortable, clean, and the balcony was a nice bonus. The kitchen area is really nice, half al-fresco. All the staff were lovely and kind and very helpful. The internet works fine - there are 2 networks to choose from. I was also very grateful to have access to a guest fridge in the kitchen area. We regretted cancelling one of the 2 nights we'd initially wanted to stay and only staying 1. For bonus points, there is also a little 8-week-old puppy :)

Providing sea views, Kaza Ladera in Ilha de Santo Antão provides accommodation, a bar, a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace or balcony. We had a really lovely stay, the location is really nice, just a short walk up from the beach and towncenter, and the view from the terrace is amazing. The owner is friendly and attentive, and helped us whenever we had a question or concern. The food is also really nice, freshly prepared and with local products. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed in the seaside view studio and the view was really fantastic, plus we could see the sunset straight from our sofa ! The studio overall was very comfortable, with all necessary amenities, very clean. Really kind staff, Guillaume (the owner) was also there and shared with us a lot of great hike suggestions! Breakfast was simple, but more than enough for us, very very tasty and home made.

The location and the view in the paul valley is beautiful, the stuff was really nice and helpful (even with little English knowledge they really tried to help us because we just could speak English :D), the hiking tipps are great and we will really miss their cute little dogs

We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

Casa BB&Djassi felt like home - with big thanks to the ladies who take amazing care of the house and their guests, Talyna, Djenny and Ana. The rooms are comfortable, the location great and it was just a happy place to be. I’m not the only one who extended my stay while there! Communication was also excellent - with the team accommodating my request for good internet in my room, as well as providing multiple options to work across the house. I’ll definitely be back. Muito obrigada to the whole team!

Plase is perfectly located, the ownes and the ladies that work there are very nice and helpful. Finally, the breakfast was excellent and complete to prepare for a hiking.

Terletak di Ponta do Sol di kawasan Santo Antão, Casa Au Bonheur des Randonneurs mempunyai balkoni dan pemandangan bandar. The appt is really huge - 3 bedrooms, spacious dining room, kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tableware and cookware. However, the shops in Ponta do Sol are really tiny, so if you're travelling by car I'd suggest to do your grocery shopping in bigger villages (e.g. we've found a relatively big shop in Ribeira Grande) or even before departing Mindelo, especially if you want to purchase alcohol. Anyway, if you don't want to cook yourself, there are several cafes/restaurants nearby, but I suggest to book the place for dinner in advance, as the best places are fully booked. Good wi-fi, plenty of parking place on the street nearby, key is left in the locker box, so you don't have to worry about time of arrival. The host is very sweet and helpful - she has sent all the precise instructions on whatsapp in advance and it was very easy to contact her anytime.
