Very clean, beautiful room, quiet, good location , near the modern shops and a little climbing to go in the center of the old town. Staff so helpful for booking tours, taxis and everything you can ask.

This guest house is excellently located and offers great value for money. It is a five-minute walk from one of the entrances to the old town. It is a very nice hotel and we had a fantastic, spacious room with modern furnishings, which was very clean. There was also a small outdoor terrace and a clothesline for drying clothes. The guest house is run by the owner and his wife, who had a young son. The fact that the owner speaks good English makes things much easier and allows him to recommend other places in beautiful Dali and the surrounding area of Lake Erhai: biking aorund the lake, visiting the nearby town of Xizhou (very beautiful too!) and Zhoucheng (a truly Bai village.) The owner also helped me with some glasses that I had lost on the plane, calling the airport in several occasions. On the day we left, he even took us to the airport in his own car, as he was picking up a friend a little later. If you go to this guest house, be sure to visit the restaurant next door, which specialises in mushrooms (although it serves many other dishes too). You can enjoy your mushrooms in a hot pot. It's a real treat that showcases the flavours of the region, and the staff are extremely friendly and happy to help you try new dishes

The hotel is conveniently located in Dali Old Town but it is tucked in a quiet corner so it is peaceful. The couple who are running this hotel are really friendly and helpful. They recommended places for us to visit and eat. The driver which they recommended for the one day private tour around ErHai was perfect too.

Good, clean room with a truly awesome view of the gorge. The guesthouse is family run and the owner and his son were both very friendly and helpful, giving us advice on our hiking itinerary, which we weren't totally sure of before arriving. The guesthouse provided all the shuttling services we needed for a reasonable price, dropping us off in the morning at tea-horse guest house and picking us up after we climbed out of the middle gorge scenic area. In addition we were able to pay to get a ride directly to Shangri-La, saving us a lot of trouble and time. The food served was quite tasty too!

Centrally located in Lijiang Ancient Town, Xilu Xiaoxie Inn features cosy accommodation with traditional Chinese furnishings and modern facilities. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in the entire... We had a comfortable stay at Xilu Xiaoxue Inn. The room was spacious and clean. The inn was located in the ancient town and was close to food, shopping and other attractions. Mandy the host was always ready to answer your queries and provide help when needed. She picked us up at the city gate and sent us off personally when we left. We appreciate her enthusiasm and thoughtfulness. Always putting an extra mile in what she does. We highly recommend staying at Xilu Xiaoxue Inn if you're in Lijiang.

We had a wonderful stay at Timeless Inn. On arrival we were greeted with fresh tea and snacks. Our host Rose was very responsive to our needs as guests, especially when our daughter was not feeling well. She made our stay special, making us feel like friends or family that were visiting. Rose served us both Asian and Western breakfast depending on the day, both were delicious. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, very clean. We enjoyed to hang out in the dining room and the he 2nd floor balcony. We highly recommend Rose's place if you visit Shangri-la.

Excellent hosts who went above and beyond in giving us recommendations about what to see in Dali and providing a comfortable stay. Rooms were clean, cosy and right in front of the beautiful scenery of Erhai lake.

Baisha is a fantastic place to live in Lijiang, we can see the snow mountain clearly through the big window, location was great by the side of main road, quiet in the yard at night, we enjoyed our stay there.
