Everything was so excellent😊😊😊. The place is very convinient to the old city only by walking. It is also easy to get taxi and not far from the train stations. The host was very friendly and helpful. She tried to speak with me in both English abd Chinese so i can practise my Chinese.😊 Im happy to find such a good place for my trip.😊

Set in Pingyao in the Shanxi Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Xiangshengyuan Hostel features a terrace and views of the city. This is a family-run hotel with the whole family pitching in. They were delightful and keen to be helpful with lots of cups of tea, advice and assistance with purchasing tickets. It felt like I was staying with friends. Very little english, but fearless with using translation apps. Very thoughtful - gave me a bottle of water for the train home after dropping me at the station. The standout for this property was the staff. I wish them every success with their business.

Datong Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard is located in Datong Ancient Town, a 5-minute walk from Huayan temple and Nine Dragon Wall. It is a quadrangle courtyard Inn with traditional decoration. Like living in ancient times, but with modern facilities. Lovely architecture and very thoughtful interior design. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Ideal location. Nice touch of providing fruits and snacks in the room and unique takeaway items.

Traditional Chinese inn in a historical family home. Convenient location between north & South Gate. Great value.

Pingyao Baichanghong Inn mempunyai bilik berhawa-dingin dengan TV skrin rata kabel di daerah Pingyao Ancient City Pingyao. Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.
