Everything was perfect, the house is exactly as shown in the photos, and is even bigger in real life. The bath tub was the 🍒 on the cake. Loved everything about the house. The kitchen is huge and has almost everything you need. I will definitely book again for winter.

Everything from the warm welcome to the view, Willem and the team were all so friendly and helpful. The cottage was spotless and oh so quirky with everything that you needed and more for a comfortable, relaxing holiday. The Turkish bath was a real treat, and the stargazing was out of this world. We did the Vineyard wine safari with Willem, which was great and very interesting. Enjoyed every minute. There are lots of local eateries and great padstalls around the area, keeping local is lekker goodies, crafts, and much more. We will definitely be back... sometime.

I've been to quite a few self catering places this year and nothing compares to River Edge. The finer details, like arriving and the hot tub is already warm, welcome gin and tonic with a lemon, enough towels for bathing and swimming. Air fryer. Fire lighters, filter coffee.... to name a few It was the best office to work at during our mid week stay. Will recommend to families and couples

It has everything for a comfortable stay, including braai facilities and a hot tub (wood is available at the accommodation). The place is spacious and beautifully designed with great thoughtfulness. It was clean, neat and beautifully decorated. There are board games provided. The hot tub has amazing panoramic views. We enjoyed the complementary gifts provided by the friendly and welcoming host, Karmin. The Opstal restaurant offers delicious food, wine tasting and is located within walking distance. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back.

We loved meeting Shane! He was so generous and kind. Our little cabin was beautifully situated at the base of the mountains. We watched the sun set over the dam and the moon rise over the mountains. The cabin was very nice and cozy. The property is a little piece if paradise!
