Dee, our host was very welcoming and helpful at proposing activities and restaurants. The home stay was in a quiet neighbourhood a bit outside the hustle bustle of the town. There are several restaurants at walking distance in the neighbourhood. Special thanks to Muddy who drove us around to visit the waterfall, coffee village and the hot spring. The guesthouse staff were extraordinary, very helpful, provided tour guides for a variety of trips, bonfires and fabulous meals. Very warm and accommodating staff. The environment is spectacular. A view of kilimanjaro, baobab trees on the horizon and lush tropical fruit trees surrounding the guesthouse. Room was clean, comfortable with en-suite and toiletries provided. Breakfast was exceptional and personally prepared by Far. Far is a great host and can arrange anything for you: taxis, tours, services and local facilities. A little out of town but in a quiet area and only a short ride to anywhere. Wi-Fi was via hot spot due to some current problems with internet provider. Thank you Far for a great stay and for welcoming us to your family village. She creates a very warm atmosphere where we felt comfortable chilling in the common areas. She helped us arrange transport and a village walking tour! We were sad to leave so soon. Comfy room with a good fan. All parts of the house were very clean and the garden is gorgeous.
