After a long day's drive what a welcome relief to pull into the garage. The hotel sits high above the bay with beautiful views of the water. We were offered a welcome glass of the local wine (I forget the name but is delicious) and given a tour of the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We decided to eat dinner there since the weather wasn't nice and we were tired and that was a great decision. We had pork and soup which was outstanding; they made us feel like we were the only ones there. If you're looking for a little out of the way but close to Lisbon stay here.

We loved everything! Vasco is very kind and responsive. The location is amazing, the island of peace! Our apartment was super clean, smelled amazing and the bes was very comfortable. It was very quiet although not far from the main road. The property was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly but not intrusive. Breakfast was excellent and a wide choice of food. Our dog was made welcome too.
