Very well appointed, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Various creative art pieces were also on display. The location, while approximately 15 minutes from Dunedin, is an historic area in its own right and worth a visit. While not numerous the cafe and food options available are outstanding. Mary the host was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was great with a comfortable bed, a great shower and felt very homely. It was situated in a quiet position off the main road and was very peaceful. The breakfast was plentiful with a good variety. Excellent value.

The Camp Estate is a superb Art Deco style lodge just outside the castle. The rooms are spacious with en-suite, super comfy and ours had a great view back towards Dunedin. The staff were great and could not have done more for us. The breakfasts were superb.
