The house and garden and relaxing areas are very nice. From the terrace you have a view on the volcanoes, so cool. The included breakfast is very good. Free water refills, tea, coffee. The room is good with private bathroom. Rico helped me also to rent a motorbike to go on a 3 day trip and booked a bus for me. I felt very comfortable, also as a female solo traveller.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in the Rumah Gadang Tokama and we can't express enough how incredible our experience was. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the most warm and hospitable host family. The historic building itself was awesome. It felt like we had stepped back in time, surrounded by the history and timeless beauty of the place. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the extraordinary kindness and helpfulness of the host family. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout our visit. We couldn't have asked for a more enchanting experience.

Excellent location, in a small quiet street, with a lot of restaurants nearby. The room is spacious, very clean and bright. Hot show with good flow. They serve a very good breakfast that you can enjoy on the terrace. The Villa is located 10 min walking from the Japanese Tunnels and with the panorama view over the canyon. You can rent a scooter from them to explore the surroundings. Hasri and his staff are very friendly and helpful and very caring about their guests. I highly recommend the place. Thank you Hasri and team for everything 😃

I never rate my stay in the booking before but this one exception. I love my stayed. It reminds me of my grandma house. So comfy. Felt like home. The owner decorated the house so beautifully. Please everyone if you plan to come to Bukittinggi you must stay here!

    One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious French toast breakfast that was served each morning. The French toast was expertly cooked to perfection and topped with a decadent caramel sauce that was simply divine. Overall, my experience at this villa was nothing short of amazing. The cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality of the host made for a truly unforgettable stay. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay.
