Excellent amenities and quality of services. It is true that location is a little bit remote from main cities. However, the island is rather small and in max 50 min you can reach by car the other end of the island - Oia. A car is mandatory if you want to have flexi ility and move faster. The location offers splendid sunsets and view towards caldera and the island. The tranquility offers recharging opportunities after crowd bathing in the caldera touristic villages. Sunset at the lighthouse is very romantic. Nearby, the ancient village of Akrotiri is a stunning experience if you are passionate about history and how people used to live 4 thousands years ago and combine it with a visit to the archaeological museum in Fira. Several nice beaches around, including the famous ones, and quite fast access to traditional villages. Personally we liked Pyrgos village more than the others, probably because is also larger and has more to offer. Also Monolytes beach has a very fine black sand and is nice for swimming, although more remote (near airport) than the others. Very tailored breakfast, from composition, location and hour of service. Also quite tasty. Rooms are large, high quality furnished and minibar is included in the price; toiletries are high quality -Apivita. Congratulations to the owners for transforming an empty piece of land into a real oasis. Thanks to Irini and her team for contributing to a successful start of our 4 days Santorini vacation.

This is a stunning location, off the beaten track. The host did meet us and show us in. Check out was easy just leaving the keys in the door. There is a great Taverna a few steps away. Make use of it they are great people cooking greek family food. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful this place fits the bill. Access to the sea requires a pair of swim shoes as the sea bed is rocky but once your in its great. Stunning sunsets on a beach we had to ourselves. We would definitely return

The location was a bit quiet compared to other towns, but it is understandable. We loved the views and also a nearby castle with restaurant on top with homemade kitchen. We had it close to the ancient city of Akrotiri, which was also very nice. We liked the close bus stop and groceries shop opened until late night. We loved the flexibility of our host Katerina. She gave us many usefull tips and was always responding pn our questions and messages. The breakfast was also very good every day. We had always clean sheets and towels every day. We felt the host cares about us a lot.

Our stay at Aura Marina was exceptional. Beautifully situated away from the busier touristy spots, with a view of Caldera. Private pool, with pool towels provided, and private balcony. Lovely cool air conditioning, perfect after a day out in the sun. Aura Marina provides all the amenities required for a self-catering holiday. Stayed here for a week with my three grown-up children, and in their words, it was the best holiday ever! What made our experience so special was the VIP treatment received at Aura Marina. George was sincerly and without doubt, the best host we have ever experienced in all of our years travelling. On our first meeting the morning after we arrived, he told us to relax, enjoy our holidays, and he would take care of everything. He was 100% true to his word, organising restaurant bookings, pick-ups, drop-offs, day trips, and excursions. Every recommendation was spot on also.  Nothing was too much trouble, and George's communication was excellent from before we arrived until we left. George is the gem in the Aura Marina crown, and it is evident that George wants every visitor to have the best possible experience of both the Aura Marina and the island. The island itself has so much to offer, and everyone we encountered was so kind and friendly (with only one exception, outlined below!). From the bottom of the island to the top is approximately a 40-minute drive, so everywhere you wish to visit is accessible. Fira and Oia are definitely worth a visit.  Highly recommend the catamaran boat tour! It is such a great day. Thank you Aura Marina and in particular George, for making our stay in Santorini absolutely amazing!

The Suite was very nice and very privat. Located in the south of Santorini, away from all the big tourist hot spots, but with a rental car easy to get to all these spots (Fira, Oia etc.). The view over the Caldera from our privat Jacuzzi with Fira and Oia on the Background and some Cruise Ships in front of us was really unbelievable. Especially at night. We enjoyed the Breakfast each day outside with enough for both of us. Fresh Juice, Coffee, Tea, eggs, bread and other things we like. Check-in at 20:00 was no problem. Communication with Lazaros by phone (iMessage, SMS, Whatsapp) was very good and he had a lot of tips to do on the Island.

Emi and her family are wonderful hosts, they cannot do enough to help you. The home made food was delicious too, so we chose to eat at the hotel a few nights. The location is fantastic, just a short walk in to the centre of Akrotiri, away from the crowds that visit Oia and Fira. It has everything you could want or need. We will definitely go back.

    We stayed at both The villa & the cave and both are amazing. If you can book the villa just go for it the view, hot tub / pool & terrace are just gorgeous. The village is also great with everything you would need for your stay and beaches as well as restaurants are all close by. Finally the management is top notch and super helpful.     Beautiful, peaceful location with gorgeous views over the island. We loved everything about the gorgeous villa. Marita made us a beautiful breakfast and was available to support with booking us anything we needed. 5 stars for everything. Perfect location for a chilled, family escape to be in santorini but away from the crowds.
