extremely cozy, incredibly soulful estate. nice owner who met us despite our late arrival. the premises are very clean, the rooms are finished. breakfast consists of the freshest croissant, baguette with homemade butter and jams. everything is in order, done well. we are very satisfied

The host was fantastic and greeted us with delicious fresh homemade apple juice. The place is idyllic in the heart of the French countryside. The breakfast was completely gorgeous. The people and the surroundings were the absolute antithesis to the city and a fast paced modern life. We were only sad that we stayed there just one night. It went so quickly that is was as if we dreamt it.

If you enjoy being away from the madding crowds, love beautiful scenery, enjoy personable hosts and a comfortable country atmosphere, then A l oree du bois will please your heart. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and were fortunate to arrived at a time (early autumn) when the place was not full. The hosts prepared a meal for us on our first night (at a very reasonable fee) that was a complete delight. And breakfasts were tasty and satisfying... on our departure day in particular they treated us to an "American style" breakfast.

The location is very quiet in a small village a few hundred metres down the main road. It's a peaceful and relaxing place. The house has been well renovated. The interior has everything you need. There was even a raclette grill. There are two large living rooms, each with a television. For winter: the fireplace is excellent and there is plenty of wood available.

Comfortable house with three beds room and clean shower room. When we ask some stuff or things, the owner always show us to fix some request and issue. Even he brought cute candies for our kids. Very nice of him!
