The location is perfect - between peaceful meadows yet a short walk to the charming village with great restaurants. The bed was super comfortable, the pool was perfect, and the outdoor dining area was delightful. The accommodation had everything we needed. We loved Lucky, the sweetest dog, and our hosts, Sebastian and Aurélie, were incredibly kind. Highly recommended for a relaxing Provence stay!

This property was such a pleasant surprise after our initial hotel cancelled. We didn't have expectations but were blown away by the hospitality. Such a cool place - like something out of a bond film. Pool was very cool. Great colour scheme with really interesting layour and architecture. Staff were sensational - Patrick, Karine. Sensational breakfast. Will definitely come back.

Unforgettable!!! The best stay in Provence by far. From our lovely host Wendy to the beautifully restored property and scrumptious breakfast! We loved this place! So sad it was only an overnight stay and couldn’t enjoy the property and all it had to offer. Thank you Wendy for being so accomodating, for the tour of the property and attention to detail. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and luxurious. We’ll be back in warmer months so we can enjoy the beautiful pool and sample your local wines too. Cheers from Australia.

If you are fortunate enough to stay at Le Domaine du Castellas, you won’t regret it. The property is secluded, and once you arrive, you may not feel the need to do much touring, but that is precisely why it deserves a place in your holiday. This is not just accommodation, it is one of life’s special experiences that will stay with you for many years. The journey along the long, narrow road is soon forgotten when the property opens up before you. The views, tranquillity, beautifully appointed rooms, and exceptional service make it all worthwhile. We left already knowing we would return, something that rarely happens. The staff play a huge part in the magic here. From the talented chef to the gardening team, front of house, and the meticulous Elsa Picaud Dor, who we believe is the reason the property is so immaculate, every detail is cared for with dedication. We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.
