I had the pleasure of staying in this truly atypical house. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was particularly delightful. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic games rooms available at the hotel. The attention to detail was evident from the emphasis on local products.

Stuart was brilliant making sure everything was sorted and ready for our stay, even though it was a last minute booking because of a change in our plans. The property, setting and location were all lovely. The appartment comprised 3 spacious and well equipped rooms and had everything we needed for a very comfortable night. Would certainly recommend.

It's more beautiful than the pictures is. We were looking for a countryside stay. The place is absolutely stunning surrounded by a beautiful lake, stream and gorgeous garden. It never felt crowded, each area such as swimming pool, badminton court, lake creatively zoned out by plants and bushes. It's so tranquil and beautiful. We stayed in one of the appointments and it was very cosy. The swimming pool is clean and spacious enough.

The owner Stuart met us on arrival and was very helpful throughout our stay. The grounds and environment around Coeur de Combray are stunning and provide a very relaxing setting. The animals and wildlife are a lovely addition to a really pleasant stay.

It was a beautiful apartment very modern, clean and exceptionally well stocked. Everything one could need in a neat little space. The landlady was exceptionally helpful. I am not sure if she spoke English (as we spoke in French) which may be a barrier to some but there is always Google translate!
