We highly recommended Puits, d'athie. We were very impressed with Mr Yannick and his colleague. Excellence hospitality. Very clean and friendly. We like the place very much. It's peaceful,we slept well.Every room has a wonderful decor and a historic. breakfast was fresh, and a bio product local made,we enjoyed it a lot. We got delicious dinner prepared by our hosts. Our family had a very comfortable and restful night at this house! The hosts were very kind and even made us a dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant, which was fabulous, truly. Our children slept well on the sofa bed. The two bedrooms are tastefully styled and show the beautiful features of this historic house. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need to feel at home. The bathrooms and showers were perfect. The private courtyard is also lovely, even in the winter, for sipping your coffee before the day begins. We toured the nearby famous cathedral. A lovely bakery is very close by and also a supermarket. Highly recommend!

Superb in every way! The apartment is exquisitely decorated - very thoughtful touches. It felt like a home, not a rental apartment. The kitchen was very well appointed. Lovely plates, glasses, etc, lots of condiments - absolutely everything one would want. Cedric the host was extremely helpful and kind. He met us outside the apartment and even carried our luggage up to the apartment. He gave us many recommendations and was very responsive to our additional enquiries. The view of the river from the apartment was beautiful. Very central location yet quiet. I can't recommend this place enough. It was a highlight of our time in Auxerre.
