We loved everything about Aan Dorpseind. It really is situated at the end of the town. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were shown to our room which had a small kitchenette, a sitting area and a sleeping area together with a great shower room. There is also a veranda outside with a built in braai (BBQ) . The property has a lovely pool which we didn't use as it was still too cold. The owners are knowledgeable about the area and ready to offer advice on sightseeing. We fell in love with Maskam, the golden retriever who paid us a daily visit. This is a great base from which to explore Namaqualand

The hostess, Chantal was delightful and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was super comfortable with a stunning view over the lake. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in any b&b anywhere.

The property is beautiful. The included breakfast was very copious and had a very good selection of items. We ate at the restaurant that night and the food was very good as well. Highly recommend

Cheryl and Michel are lovely hosts, they recommended trips which made our stay perfect. Also their guesthouse is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Would definitely go there again.

Blommenberg is most definitely great value for money and the place is really well kept. The staff was absolutely wonderful, they really made you feel homely and i would recommend the Guest lodge to everyone
