Very welcoming staff and hospitality, thank you. Situation quiet and comfortable seating areas both indoors and outside, particularly on the rooftops where you can watch the sun go down amongst the fragrance of the jasmine flowers. Spacious room and stylish furniture etc. All very pleasing. Good breakfast and the restaurant called Mammies did excellent food at very reasonable prices. It was only 2 minutes walk from the hotel....turn left out of the front door. Interesting murals within walking distance as was the synagogue. No need to hire a car as taxis very cheap.

Had everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Hotel Dar Dhiafa is located on Djerba Island in the village of Erriadh and Houmt Souq Harbour is a 10-minute drive away. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, staff was friendly and the restaurant had good Tunisian food. Everything was clean and from the hotel you could walk around Djerbahood and see the mural paintings.

Where do I begin? Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was amazing — fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommend!

Amira, our host was great. The accomodation was perfect and the breakfast was something else. We felt welcome and we were given a ton of recommandations. The swimming pool was the cherry on cake.

Maison d'hôtes Dar El Kahina Djerba mempunyai taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres matahari dengan kolam renang dan sarapan bufet di Mezraya. We had a fantastic stay – Isabelle is a wonderful host! The rooms are beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, very clean, and cozy. The pool was perfect for relaxing, especially when we didn’t feel like going to the beach. I highly recommend getting a massage during your stay – it’s a great way to unwind.
