This is a fabulous place, the spacious design and touches are great. Lookout for the corngrinder footbaths and the art deco lights. We loved the food, (we ate breakfast and dinner here) the staff were outstanding, helpful and friendly. The sunset view and beach are off the chart if unspoilt and wild are your thing. It’s 6k from town so alternative eateries are a drive away.

It was a great rate and we were able to arrange a snorkel tour through the hostel to Isla Iguana where we saw sea turtles. I was able to cook all my meals there and they gave us a free breakfast everyday and there was a laundry nearby and I was able to dry my clothes there.

Offering an outdoor pool and free bike rental, Casa Lajagua is located in Pedasí, just a 3-minute drive from Playa Arenal beach. It boasts a beautiful on-site organic vegetable garden. April our hostess was very helpful and informative. The breakfasts were delicious with homemade jams 😋 . It was a very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Casa Lajagua to our friends and family.
