Thé location was amazing, the water was calm, no wind like the other side of the island. The farm animals were a great perk . The owner and staff were so welcoming. The sunset with volcano views, near the entrance to the river for kayaking. Beside a happening bar. Mango beach is great too. The toilets and showers were very clean. A magical paradise. The hut was perfectly cute right on the water front.

Everything about Ometepe house was perfect...the friendly staff, the convenient location, the comfortable beds, and that pool was so refreshing. I will definitely be back at some point. It is the perfect lodging to experience Moyogalpa, and the island in general.

The breakfast options were lovely, the view on the volcano was amazing and I really enjoyed having our private terrace with a hammock and howler monkeys that visited the surrounding nature every day. Oh, and the stars on a not cloudy day, best I have ever seen so far! We have really enjoyed our week on the island, could easily have stayed a bit longer. Café Campestre was nearby, great place for dinner. All in all, it was better than we imagined, thank you!

Hostal y Mirador la Chaguita was an excellent place to stay. It’s near the ferry in Moyogalpa (although an extra 800 meters farther up the hill than google maps says), and the owners will give you a ride for $1.50 USD (which I recommend - the walk was a lot with luggage). The place is beautiful with amazing views and the hosts/owners are warm and lovely people. They cooked us a delicious breakfast and made fresh juice in the morning, all for a very reasonable price. The hosts were also very responsive via WhatsApp before we arrived, and they helped us arrange transportation for the following day (and can help set up tours, etc if you wish). I definitely recommend staying here!

Great value for that price. Place run by fantastic family. Everyone I met there was really nice and helpful. Home cooced breakfast was delicious. Localization is good, close to everything you might need. The room was neat clean and had a fan for warmer days and nights.

Terletak di Balgue di kawasan Ometepe, Rocks Beach menawarkan penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. The location is fantastic, right on the shore of the lake and at the same time just a minute walk from the main road and restaurants in Balgue. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable too. There is a functional kitchen, two hammocks, chairs for the shore, candles for the night, and kitchenware too. Really has everything you need.
