The Opposite Place terletak di Melaka, 3.3km dari Kubu St John’s dan 4.4km dari Melaka Straits Mosque. It was not only very clean and well-maintained, but also beautifully designed with a cozy and aesthetic atmosphere. It made my stay all the more enjoyable, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail.

When you enter the property there is kind of small shop - you take what you want and throw money to moneybank. Close to the dutch square and night market.

Melaka is a very nice city to visit, but the best part of Melaka is Casugria Dutch Residence and the best part of Casugria are owners, Natasha and Sean and their staff Elizabeth and Michael.  Natasha, Sean and staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.  We learned many things about Melaka, Malaysia, food and plants from our very enjoyable conversations. Casugria is a lovely, enclosed and secure oasis in an excellent location to all of the sights.  The grounds of this former Dutch Governor's mansion are beautiful, green and lush as Natasha is a Botanist and planted the fruiting trees and flowers.  The rooms are four, adorable and comfortable, sound-proof cottages surrounding the pool and gardens and the compound is shady, quiet and serene.  A brutally hot afternoon does not feel so bad after a swim in the refreshing pool. Single, female or females traveling alone would feel perfectly safe at Casugria.  For everyone, the experience is so superior to a big, nondescript high-rise, do not hesitate to book this property as soon as you can. Last, but not least, were the incredibly delicious breakfasts which were varied and so substantial, we skipped lunch each day.  Be sure to try the yummy Malay, Indian and Chinese items provided.

The owner is kind and helpful. She allowed me to check in before the regular check in hour. There are grocery store, restaurants, fruit stand, and laundry facility (using coin) within 10 minutes walking. There is a small communal kitchen on the first floor equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, water filter, and some utensils. That is very convenient.

Terletak di Melaka, 15km dari Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, Siantan In Paya Rumput Perdana menyediakan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan teres. (1)Owner was so helpful, respond quickly. (2)The facilities all are in a good condition, feels like our home, complete with so many utensils, plates, induction cooker, rice cooker, microwave, jug and teapot, even have blender. Oh also got water filter so we can make susu for the kids easily, complete hot and cold water too. Both toilets also have water heater, so easy for the kids to take a bath. (3)All the rooms complete with mirror, aircond, blanket, table, hanger, and windows. No fan at other rooms except for master bedroom, but its ok as the aircond already cold and make us feels like hotel. (4)For me, the best part is, it was so suitable for family who have toddler and baby. The house so simple without too much furniture and useless decoration( glasses decoration) but all were complete. So our toddler can run from the living room till the kitchen. They were so happy and can play independently without our worries. (5)Lastly, it was so nice if owner can add qiblat direction, but it just a small matter as we can check ourselves using our phone or use surau as the guide. Plus, it was so near with surau Jumaat, so hipster, hence the man can perform their prayer with the kids.
