Situated in Roja, 1.1 km from Roja Beach, Viesu nams UPE features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The property is set 28 km from Laumas Nature Park, 36 km from Talsi Baptist Church and 37 km from Mill Hill. The guest house offers quiet street views and a picnic area. We visited on our way up North and we made a detour on our way back to stay at Viesu as we had an excellent experience before. We were greeted with the same warmth as previously. We extended our stay, but as the hosts were themselves out of town, they made sure we could leave on our own. How great is that?!

He then explained the facilities, and told us how to get to the beach to see the sunset - and time was limited. Our room was truly enormous with a bed the size of an entire city. Needless to say we were very comfortable. Around the buildings there is plenty of space to relax, including a covered smoking area and another separate area to take you coffee or wine with candles. There is a large shared kitchen, but also the option to pay for a breakfast. The hotel is located within an easy walk of a fantastic beach AND an easy walk into the town

There is a small terrace where you can relax very comfortably. The hostess is very nice and helps with everything you need. Everything is prepared so that you can relax in both hot and cold weather. There are many ways for children to occupy themselves. It is also great that you can go swimming. It is possible to grill something (only coal is needed, the rest is already there). Showers and toilets very clean and tidy. A small kitchenette with everything you need is also available.

There was a garden shared with the other apartments, including grass, table chairs and sun umbrella. Unfortunately it rained heavily while we were there, so didn't get to use them. Parking available right outside, on the strip between road and pavement/sidewalk. Although there was just the two of us, there was another single bed and the sofabed, so the apartment would suit a family of 4. Fantastic value too.
