The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

We absolutely LOVED our stay udawalawe safari house! After changing our plans and coming to Udawalawe a night earlier than planned (and in need of some luxury), this place was exactly what we needed. The hosts were so friendly, the buffet dinner was delicious and great value and the swimming pool was amazing. They organise safari for us with easy and served breakfast on return. The rooms were well sized and comfy. Would 100% Recommend!

The owner (Dim) was incredibly helpful. He organised a safari for us and included breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Safari was super nice, we had a private jeep and a private tour guide. He showed us the most beautiful spots and managed to find a lot of elephants!! We even saw a 2 month old baby elephant with his mum. It was an experience to remember forever.

16km dari Taman Negara Udawalawe, Forest Edge Safari Villa terletak di Udawalawe dan mempunyai taman dan teres. Room - comfortable, big, with a nice ensuite and a serene patio overlooking a forest. Staff - very friendly and accommodating, and quick to respond to any requests on WhatsApp. Safari - I joined the Safari attached to the hotel and can recommend it highly. The driver was excellent at identifying wildlife and was often first to see rare animals. I did two tours: 4h one afternoon and 6h one morning. Both times, the guide was excellent. He has a deep respect for the wildlife and the animals and this really comes across in his tours. He even invited me to dinner with his family afterwards which was an honour and a treat - thank you!

We loved the quiet location and that it is family run. The room is so lovely, clean and comfortable. Mango Tree House organized two unforgettable safari trips. On the full day of safari a lovely breakfast and lunch were packed up for us. Owners are so kind and helpful. Also, the food is the best food we’ve had this whole trip! Incredible vegetarian Sri Lankan food- we are worried we will never find curry that tastes as good again!

The owner was super caring, the location was beautiful, the room was clean and had really good conditions. You can have dinner at the hotel, where the family will cook a very tasty and local meal for you for a very fair price. The place is small and feels like home. We really really recommend this place as it was one of the best places we have stayed in Sri Lanka!

A great place to stay with a wonderful host - Dasun organised for us to get around and provided options for a safari which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had the opportunity to met Dasun's family and his mum cooked our evening meals which were absolutely delicious. Sitting relaxing outside our unit we were entertained by a monitor lizard and family of mongooses passing my - magic.
