The accommodation is owned by a very nice family, the rooms are very clean, the food is excellent, we felt like home here and we highly recommend it. Very good location ,close to Lion Rock, on the main street surrouded by some restaurans and few small stores. The host has his own tuk-tuk and can help with transport to Pidurangala or around the area.I strongly recomand this homestay and wish to come back here.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely sisters and their adorable kids. They treated us to a refreshing fresh juice made from fruits right from their garden, which was such a thoughtful touch. The cottage itself was super clean and comfortable, providing a perfect space to relax. We had a great night's sleep, and the breakfast served was absolutely delicious! There are several restaurants, with just a short 10-minute walk away. We had the pleasure of dining at the brother’s restaurant, “Downtown,” where the food was fantastic and service was exceptional. The kindness and hospitality of the family truly made our experience unforgettable. I wish them all the success with their new business—they have so much to be proud of! Set within 17 km of Sigiriya Rock and 20 km of Pidurangala Rock, Hotel Hanguk Villa offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Dambulla. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. All rooms come with a patio with views of the mountain. This was the best accommodation of our 3 week stay in Sri Lanka! The place is very nice and calm in the middle of fields. Just lovely.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner personally took us to Pidurangala Rock at 5:30 am by tuk-tuk to see the sunrise, and waited for us (extra fee). The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and truly authentic. As a lovely parting gesture, we received magnets during check-out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and memorable experience!

It was the best part of our stay in Sri Lanka. The owner, an exceptionally kind person, went above and beyond to assist us throughout our visit. The room was clean, equipped with all essentials for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious. Our tuktuk excursion to Sigiriya and Dambulla Royal Cave Temple with the owner was a joy. He drove us with humor, made stops to highlight interesting spots, and even offered to take pictures of us. In the end, he personally took us to the bus stop. I would definitely recommend to others!!
