From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized by Buddika, who managed our transfers, meals, accommodation, and safari experience with incredible professionalism and kindness. He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

Menawarkan basikal percuma, taman dan WiFi percuma, Wilpattu Mookalan Resort terletak di Habawewa, 39km dari Kumbichchan Kulama Tank dan 39km dari Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. We had a wonderful visit. The resort is located immediately outside the National Park, so the location is perfect. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The area is quiet and you can hear the birds and the jungle sounds (we even heard an elephant!) The resort is family run and the host, his wife and two sons were very friendly and helpful. The meals were good and (very) plentiful. We enjoyed a safari in the park with the host and there are walking paths on the lake outside the park where we saw lots of birds. Overall a great experience.

The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. We arrived around 830pm after a day long road trip, hungry and tired. Kanchana prepared a satisfying meal for the four of us at such short notice. Her husband also arranged tuk tuks for us to tour Anuradhapura. The location is rustic and quiet. A lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life

They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

We had a great time at Blooming Holiday! The family who runs the place is genuinely kind and welcoming, making our visit truly pleasant. They organized an excellent tour of Annuradhapura and a good safari to Wilpattu National Park, which made our planning effortless. Each evening, they cooked us amazing curries – a definite highlight of our stay. Our room was always spotless, and the small pool was a wonderfully refreshing spot to cool down from the heat. We can highly recommend Blooming Holiday for anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay!
