Arnold gave us all the information we needed to navigate Lamu on arrival and organised some wonderful trips for us as well as a Swahili cooking lesson. Breakfast was generous and the rooms comfortable. I would definitely recommend JamboHouse! We will stay again on our next trip.

We can't fault Jua House. The place is stunning, the decor feels like its out of an interiors magazine. The staff is top-notch and Thomas is a rock star who I loved talking to. Breakfast is exceptional with freshly baked produce daily.

Featuring a swimming pool and tropical gardens, Kijani Hotel is situated on the coast of Lamu Island, along the Indian Ocean. The décor comes with natural handmade furniture, lanterns and ornaments. The location can not be beat, but the pool and court yard stole the show

It was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had. The house is a traditional Swahili house, with a beautiful terrace and views, a tastefully decorated interior with all the necessary amenities and a well stacked kitchen, which is always a plus with kids. Our host Abadalla is quite simply the best host I’ve ever had - and we travel quite a bit. He was kind, thoughtful and basically carefully planned our entire stay, coordinating tours, recommending awesome local spots and day activities along the way. He took take of it all, from airport pick up, to sunset Dhow, to Lamu tour, he negotiated the prices and made the trip ultra smooth. He also served us beautiful breakfast every morning, with a large variety of fruits, Swahili pastries, omelettes, etc. He also stocked the fridge and made sure we always had drinking water for a very reasonable fee. The nicest and warmest guy, who also shared many special moments with us, and shared stories and history of Lamu as well. We would highly recommend Shela Bliss to anyone. An outstanding experience!

Ras Kitao Holiday Villa mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres di Lamu. Our vacation was fantastic! The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the accommodations were very comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home.

There is a great restaurant next door With delicious food and you can always pop over to Sheila (5 min boat ride) for some activity if you feel too quiet on the island 🏝️ 👍

Andavelo House far exceeded my expectations. The place is beautifully finished, with very large rooms, extremely comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and a cool and pleasant sitting area downstairs. The plunge pool provided a welcome antidote to the heat. The staff were amazing, with Safari seeing to my every need, and Abu producing fresh and delicious meals. A real refuge.

Terletak 2-minit berjalan kaki dari 18th Century Swahili House Museum, Beytsalam menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, lounge berkongsi dan dapur berkongsi untuk kemudahan anda. WiFi percuma ditawarkan.... There was a problem with the electricity (or AC) in the building when we arrived, but a new place closeby was quickly arranged for us. Other issues we encountered in the new place were quickly addressed as well.
