The owner is a superb host. Friendly and helpful. Keeps everything very orderly. The location is great at a walkable distance from downtown/nearest station. It is just across the road from a pleasant onsen which accepts day trippers. It means you can add a bit of luxury to your guest house stay. Bicycle rental and luggage storage is at the nearest station. They know Ulala and they were very flexible about extending the standard period to suit my plan.

Be sure to eat in his restaurant where he cooks delicious local food. Quiet and peaceful location, good location to take a break from the big cities in japan. A bus stop is very nearby so you can get around easily. I would recommend going to the nearby onsen, and definitely go to Iwai Island!
