The property has 4 rooms (only one has Japanese beds). It was really clean and had more than enough space. And the onsen was really nice and could be locked (just like a bathroom). The washing machine was also very good. When we arrived there was nobody around, so we sent a message via Booking and 10 minutes later our host appeared. She was so nice and offered us green tee with Japanese sweets during the afternoon. She also prepared a fresh breakfast (we appeared one morning at 10.20 and she had prepared a small soupe and sandwiches- so thoughtful!). We can only fully recommend the guesthouse.

From a relaxing onsen soak to the best sleep and then a tasty, family-style breakfast, we enjoyed our stay at Yufuin Sunday. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations.

Pension Yufuin prides itself on an outdoor public hot-spring bath featuring large rocks, that’s unique in Oita. It also offers a garden, a terrace and free WiFi at the lobby. An unbelievably helpful host and a beautiful location in lovely Yufuin made this one of the most memorable places that we stayed at in Japan. Highly recommended!

The property is close to Beppu Park, B-Con Plaza and Beppu Art Museum. location was perfect. just less than 5 min walk to DDDK. And location was centralised to many sights and F&B options. for the price point, this hotel is perfect for my large family.
