What an amazing accommodation! Beautiful traditional room. A place to relax and recharge. Futon beds were super comfortable, probably the best sleep I’ve got in a while. The Japanese garden was absolutely stunning. You can see that there is a lot of thought and attention put into the interior and exterior design. We opted for the Japanese breakfast and it was incredible. Delicious and well presented meal that can be enjoyed while looking at the beautiful garden. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a recommendation from us 10/10.

Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. Good breakfast with a nice variety, onsite onsens were a treat to enjoy, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable hosts. Family owned so everything felt very personalized. Directly on the bus route; a bit difficult with luggage but still doable.

Kamakura no Nikki terletak di Kamakura, 22km dari Menara Marin Yokohama dan 31km dari Stadium Nissan. The owner of the property is proactive, asking us about our arrival time. We were given duck cookies (a delicacy of kamakura) and two luggage tags as a gift. We got here easily via train. It’s also a stone throw’s away from the beach and the Buddha. The best part of staying here is being able to do laundry for free. We had been travelling for 2 weeks before coming to Kamakura so we had a mountain of laundry. Water pressure in the shower is also 10/10.

Guest House Ken-Ken mempunyai penginapan berhawa-dingin di Hota. Terdapat teres dan tetamu boleh menggunakan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. Ken-ken was a wonderful host. I only stayed for one night to be close to Nokogiri Mt. for hiking, but Ken-ken was extremely helpful and generous while I was there. One of my favorite memories from my two week trip to Japan will be my stay in this little town of Hota, much thanks to Ken-ken's hospitality and guidance for places to visit and eat at while I stayed. He recommended the cutest izakaya when I told him I was looking for dinner and a few beers called Rest Inn Wassup! The owner and cook there were so nice, and we had a good time visiting even though we were mostly speaking through Google Translate. Please don't be afraid to visit this little town if you want to see some authentic Japanese small-town life and great hiking. I was able to get around fairly easily, but be aware the public transportation is limited and it can get dark in the neighborhood at night. Rest assured, though, if you stay with Ken-ken, he will make your stay comfortable and worthwhile!

We stayed just one night at Hiro's place and we had an amazing experience! The house is lovely in a very traditional Japanese style, and there's a small private onsen too! Hiro really made us feel welcome in his home, and greeted us with lots of kindness. The garden has a lovely pond and the little dog is so sweet! I really recommend Hiro place for an authentic and lovely experience in Japan. Hope we can come back again in the future. Thank you Hiro!
