The B and B is a ten minute walk from the ruins. To top it off, Ibrahim is the director of the Um Qeis museum, so if you have any questions on the history of the site right up to the 1980s when he and his family had to move out of the Ottoman village, he is your man. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, peaceful paradise of a guesthouse - we wish we could have stayed for much longer. We were warmly welcomed by the caretakers of the property (and they were very patient when we realized we'd arrive much later than we'd planned). The views are incredible and sunset is just magical. The downstairs unit (basically a full, small apartment) was ideal––a nice-sized kitchen, living room, small terrace, good and comfortable bed + bedroom––and everything very clean and proper. The breakfast was DELICIOUS - and plentiful! We'd have loved to stay reading and doing art in the upstairs living room all day. The house also has lovely history and is a wonderful tribute to the artist/architect/founder. Highly recommend!
