Anna, the hostess, was very kind, helpfull and (very) patient. She recommended excellent places for food or breakfast/coffee in the town. The room was excellent, in the center of the town, at the highest point. There were restaurants, coffee shops all around, as well as the central piazza. We managed to park our motorbike in the alley right beneath our room window, not actually permited, but since it was just for one night. Montepulciano is very beautiful, combined with Anna's apartment, made our stay worthwhile!

We’ve stayed in apparently fancier, more luxurious hotels, but this place gave us that truly exclusive vibe—where you feel seen, cared for, and genuinely valued. It’s the perfect place to relax, sip wine, unwind, and feel completely spoiled from start to finish.

Gabrielle, a seasoned michelin star chef and his wife Aliona opened this hotel in 2023. It was a monastery back in 1800 and they renovated mostly by themselves and their 2 sons. Every corner of the hotel has a personal touch, showing their passion and utmost care to a place they now call home. We truly felt their warmth and hospitality. They showed the process of the renovation for 9 full months. It has been an amazing experience in Tuscany and i fell in love with Italy because of their cities and hospitalities. Hope you could visit and stay at this place when you are visiting Tuscany. They have a set menu lunch and dinner at 45 and 65 eur / person, but we have not got a chance to try because they have a full day wedding the next day, so it is not serving lunch and dinner. Next time….

What a vacation! All our dreams about staying in Tuscany at some agriturismo came true right here at Pievuccia. We felt as if we were home. The apartment was so clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was so tasty, made with love by one and only Clara, the good spirit of the farm. Every morning you’ll be greeted by Luna the dog and Francis the cat, and if you’re lucky you’ll get to meet Mitzy the cat, farm pets. Gotta mention Pipo, neighbours dog. So if you’re an animal lover, this is the place to go. And if you are a wine lover, again, this is your place! Hope your wine tasting will be filled with as much fun, laughter, good company and quality wine as our was. Jenny and Steven, we couldn’t ask for better hosts!
