My friend and I stayed here for one night as a base for visiting the blue lagoon and returning our rental car to the airport early the following morning. It was perfect and had everything we needed, it was one of our fav places we stayed on our entire trip. There was plenty of towels and toiletries supplied, more so than bigger hotels we stayed at in Reykjavik, and the kitchen/tv are awas comfy. Beds were very comfy and spacious bathroom.

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. Andi and Yuki are truly the epitome of exceptional, welcoming hosts. When reading the reviews prior to booking it all seemed too good to be true. The minute Andi picked us up from the airport, however, we understood exactly what everyone meant. We only got to stay one night at 1x6, but in that night we got to connect with people all over the world, and made some new friends from Oregon. The added homemade breakfast as great, and they were ready to help with anything we needed. For our next trip to Iceland, we’ll for sure be back!

Also the host left some good snacks for us. Although we had an issue with the toilet, the host gave us a different room to ensure that we still have a nice stay.

The family-run Blue Viking Studios is next to Keflavík Harbour and 3 km from Keflavík International Airport. Free WiFi and parking. The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is within 20 minutes’ drive. excellent location and the town was cute to visit, good kaffe restaurant at harbour and a troll house was a surprise

Raven’s Bed & Breakfast is a converted traditional cow house which has been renovated into a unique guest house. The original wooden beams and certain decorative items remain from its past. The design of the house is amazing, it’s classic design with modern furnitures mixed. Has got everything we meeded. Kitchen that we could use however we want. Hot bath tub to chill. Dish washer. Big fridge with full of foods that we can grab anytime. Two big clean bathrooms. The maid was so friendly and nice. The view is amazing as well. I can’t really say anything bad about this hotel. Absouletly recommended for everybody.

Set 5 km from Blue Lagoon, Guesthouse Grund provides accommodation and free WiFi in Grindavík. Some units also have a kitchen equipped with an oven and a microwave. Everything was clean and comfortable to stay. We will recommend this place to everyone. Very closed by Blue Lagoon, volcano for hiking.

Good quality for the price. Convenient location close to the airport and to the Blue Lagoon. The host family was very nice. Thank you, hope to visit you again!
