When I booked Kumbakonam inn for my recent trip to Kumbakonam from Australia, I was a bit doubtful if I had made the right choice. But my doubts vanished within half an hour of stay in the place. The property & the hosts were simply exceptional. The location, comfort, cleanliness & service, guidance on places to visit & food was simply superb. Hosts Balaji & Bhuvana are the loveliest people & made sure that everything was taken care of including the needs of my mobility impaired family member. Very accessible property. Definitely want to plan a longer stay next year. Would recommend this property to all my family & friends all over the world. Thanks Mr. & Mrs Balaji for this home away from home & not to forget the yummy yummy homely food. Keep up the good work

This is a wonderful place and we really enjoyed our 4 days stay there. The room was clean and specious with a large sitting area. The views from the hotel, including the rooftop, are fabulous. We actually found the view from the hotel better than the view from Kodaikanal itself. The hotel owner Imbaraj was very kind and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The site managers, Nirmal and Padma, were wonderful. They made us excellent South Indian breakfast and dinner on request. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet, beautiful rural area yet very close to Kodaikanal town.

It was international standard clean. It has an amazing view of the forest. The food was excellent. Directions and staff responsiveness are excellent. The animals in and around the resort are lovely. There are minimal insects, so I assume that they fumigate regularly. Attention to detail in that there is high speed wifi, toilet paper, bin liners and fresh towels, and linen.

The owner was incredibly kind and generous, always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as shown in the photos. Perfect for family. For the price, it’s honestly great value. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, hassle-free, and welcoming place to stay.

It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city but not too far. We could drive into the city in 10 mins to get to restaurants. Kannan was very helpful with organising activities and other details. Rooms were clean and spacious.
