The host was one of my highlights during my entire month in Indonesia. She is so so so kind and does an amazing job running the homestay. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious, and it's a great home base for a Rinjani tour. She will also book that for you!

The kindness of the host is what stands out. I advise you to go on the waterfall hike with him. He has his own path through the jungle to the beautiful Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu waterfalls. Definitely better than trying to find them on your own and for a very reasonable price. The food offered by the host is made by his wife and is absolutely delicious if you like the local cuisine. The portions are very royal. This accomodation has its own waterfall in the backyard... What more do you need? P.s. the host drove all the way to Kuta in the south of Lombok to bring me my earplugs that I forgot, even though I only stayed for 1 night. Just goes to show the lengths he goes to for his guests.

Such an amazing vibe thanks to Tan, Marco, and Deka. I stayed at a few hotels in Bali, but hands down this place was the most memorable. Had a great time just hanging out at the bar having Bintangs and great tasting coffee. It was my first time showering outside and it was so refreshing. The room was clean and the AC was perfect. Also the pool was nice and clean. Overall an awesome experience and definitely my favorite place throughout my 2 week vacation. Most definitely recommend Casa Kapuas!
