The room - we had the Scott Suite - was immaculate, spacious and like a home from home. Fantastic breakfast - and the Port and Whisky were a nice touch, too. We'd love to come back.

I need to first mention the exceptionally nice hosts of this B&B. Both ladies were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and really make you feel Scottish Hospitality at its best. And we thought this was only a Highlands thing! How wrong we were... The room was very nice and super clean, and the bathroom as well. Pretty modern too. Also, we need to mention the outstanding breakfast, which my girlfriend rated as the best she's had in all of Scotland! It's hard to argue with that, to be honest, we definitely left with a big smile. It's a very small B&B, but if you can, book this one. I can't do anything but highly recommend Hillcrest, and if we're ever in the neighbourhood again, this is the first place we're looking at.
