This charming 18th-century guest house is an ideal base for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. It offers individually-decorated rooms and a floral garden with a pond and a shaded terrace. The house is truly impressive and exceptionally well maintained. There’s plenty of parking, the garden is beautifully kept and the entire place is tastefully decorated. The rooms are a comfortable size, everything is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Major sights and attractions are all within walking distance. A wonderful stay, highly recommended!

They welcomed us late at night without any hesitation even though it was almost midnight. In the morning, they welcomed us in their lovely home for breakfast with an amazing view. Very clean property, everything is new and cleverly made. Also, includes nice amenities such as tennis court and jacuzzi. Great value for money, definitely recommended!

I love this place! There is absolutely nothing to complain about! It's a converted residence with one ground floor room and 3 more up a winding staircase. It's a perfect combination of private room and hostel-style interaction with other guests. Owner, Pascal, single-handedly does all the work, keeping the place very clean and tidy. He speaks adequate English. At 25€ (single, mid-May, no breakfast), it's an outstanding value, too. I enjoyed it so much I stayed 3 nights. When there was no availability on the 2nd night, Pascal gave me his room.The four rooms share two bathrooms, half and three-quarter. There is a full shared kitchen/lounge, including an oven and cooking equipment, suitable for preparing full meals. Wi-fi is excellent. There is a constant supply of coffee and tea, a generous set of herbs and spices, ice cubes, and garden lemons. The description says towels and linens cost extra. This is true for towels but linens are included. The rear surroundings are lushly green and the residential street is very quiet. There is a small balcony for smoking or sitting and the large front yard has tables and chairs. There is ample, free street parking. Shopping and the beach are a long walk away, but there is good bus service. Guests should be aware that the rooms do not have external locks so they're accessible when not occupied but I had absolutely no sense of theft danger. If you. like me, don't like standard hotels, this place is for you!
