Fantastic Bed & Breakfast run by a super friendly couple. The bed was comfy and the dinner one evening was nice. Great conversations with both Hosts. Loved the little gym which had enough space for Yoga or Pilates. And the wifi worked well in the room which isn't always the case in B&Bs.

Easy to find. On arrival, the entry keypad had a plate attached telling me to ring the bell, but I couldn't find the bell. Someone passing rang the number and all was well! It was very clean and very technological with a small plastic card for room entry and flashing lights as well as a voice telling if the door was locked or unlocked. Wifi worked a treat. There were qr codes here and there, and a Hi Google box or something - I didn't dare mess with those as I am not very good with modern things! Bed very comfortable, slept like a log, and everything was clean. Breakfast self service and perfectly adequate. Auxonne is a beautiful place, and I would like to return and stay here again for longer. Thank you!

Beautifully laid out, clean and comfortable. Stunning decor. Enormous super king bed and two singles in our family room. Great power shower. Christine was very welcoming and helpful and booked us a restaurant and a taxi . Perfect French breakfast both mornings.

If you go there you will see beautiful paintings from a great artist wich you can see in gallery’s in worlds important places. We stay for one night but it was to short! Luckely we see them soon in a gallery in Brussel.

We loved everything about it: great location near the centre of a charming town with numerous cafes, restaurants and shops, a beautiful and spacious room with an eye for the details and a garden, but most of all the charming owner Dominique who was spoiling us with wonderful breakfasts and generally made us feel like at home. Thanks again, Dominique, and hope to come to beautiful Burgundy and your b&b again.

We stayed one night at this lovely Gîtes de France on our way down from Calais to Provence and were thoroughly delighted with our choice. The location was spectacular: in the quiet and tranquil grounds of the local chateau in the picturesque countryside outside Dijon. Caroline was a friendly and obliging host, greeting us at our arrival. The room itself was superb: the bed was huge, and very comfortable; the bathroom was kitted out with features such as an illuminated and heated mirror and a spacious and lovely shower, all a bit unexpected considering the traditional exterior. Our downstairs room had a door opening on to the garden; we had our pizza meal – bought from a local pizzeria ordered for us (due to our rudimentary French) by Caroline – on a table just outside our room and the tension of our drive just melted away in the tranquillity. We had access to a modern kitchen/dining area to help ourselves to tea/coffee/something stronger as we wished. After a wonderful night’s sleep, we were rewarded with a lovely French breakfast – including toasted brioche, freshly-squeezed orange juice and plenty of fresh coffee – once again at the table outside as the weather was so nice, before setting off on the second stage of our journey. We would wholeheartedly recommend La Ferme du Château and indeed will ensure it is on our itinerary next time we are in the Dijon region.
