We only stayed one night but I could imagine a whole summer in these settings.

The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely terrace outside. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough each morning. Matilde, the host, was absolutely wonderful —very kind, helpful, and easy to approach. Highly recommended!

Mattheiu is a very pleasant welcoming host. The room was very modern and clean and comfortable. A nice breakfast with the addition of pancakes one morning and french toast the next. Mattheiu was also very helpful with ideas of what to see and where to eat.

The welcome we received was delightful.and the setting of the Villa in a small forest was so lovely and for our dog it was such a bonus. Although Villa l'Eguille was in a very quiet setting it was very close to lots of interesting places such as Mornac sur Suedre, Royan, Palmyre zoo and of course the many beaches. The Port at L'Eguille is so lovely and there are some excellent restaurants. We ate at Christine et Jean Luc a superb seafood restaurant right on the Quayside. Another magical setting for an excellent seafood restaurant is the Q Sale' atPort de Chaillevette. 😋. We had a wonderful holiday in such a great location. Have to mention the bed in our room which was an electric bed and very comfortable. Also the mini fridge was so useful as were the kettle and the coffee machine. ☕️ I was in a lot of pain due to an illness and I was given the most amazing massage I have ever experienced. Thank you so much.
