The location was perfect, close to the centre and within walking distance of cafes and restaurants and of course the Saturday market. The room was huge with lots of space and a seating area by the window which was great for relaxing. The water was super hot in the shower, ideal for a freshen up after hiking around the Laguna de Cuicocha! The communal areas were well equipped and very clean plus drinking water was provided. Alberto provided information on things to do and offered help in organising any activities. A great place and a very enjoyable stay.

Offering a restaurant, Hosteria Cabañas Del Lago is located in Otavalo, just steos from San Pablo lake. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. The location is super fun with water sports and mini golf. We loved canoeing together as a family and jumping off the platform into the lake. There was a nice hang-out for those who didn't want to get in the water and they still felt part of the fun ordering drinks and food. We loved that they let us stay after check out to enjoy the property longer. Such a beautiful location and fun cabin feel while having all the comforts of home.

Breakfast was very good - homemade and served at the hour of your choosing. The host asked the evening before what time and what I would like. Location is quiet and peaceful, rooms are comfortable. Note all rooms are up a flight of stairs. I did not mind, but do note that the room has a skylight so it gets light with the sunrise.
