We were greeted very warmly by our hosts and made to feel welcome immediately. We parked up our motorcycles, on the extensive parking area available and made our way inside, at which point Heiki even called the local restaurant to make sure they were able to accommodate us for dinner. The room was woonderfully clean, providing all the necessities for our stay, with a wonderful bed, comfortable mattress, seating options, fridge and tea and coffee-making. The bathroom was small, but provided enough space and all the amenities expected of more expensive accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast that was provided, which was fantastic. The spread was wide and varied, with all tastes and dietary requirements catered for. We were provided with a personal service, being the only remaining guests for the day, and were able to converse with the wonderful hosts.

It was a wonderful experience - we lived in the castle. Be sure to take this opportunity. We arrived quite late, but the owners were waiting for us and even treated us with wonderful wine. The castle has only 2 rooms for guests. Therefore, in the case of booking for 4 people you also have the opportunity to stay absolutely in the whole castle) The territory has the possibility of parking, and the castle itself is surrounded by a vineyard. It is very close to the city center. We walked with pleasure. We thank the owners of the premises for advice on visiting the local winery. This is an incredible place!

I have stayed in castles before but this fortress was on another level. It was like going back in time. The owners are absolutely amazing and take the time to explain the history of the place. They are restoring this place to what it deserve to be. Best part of my trip for sure .

We picked Burg Hermannstein for the experience of staying in a castle and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a unique stay, this is a great choice. Breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the drinks and fruit left for us in the room. We were warned to expect the castle to be cold but our room was a nice temperature.
