We dined in the restaurant most nights for dinner too, which offered the best local food options.

The countryside around the hotel is gorgeous, the room was cosy and there were leaflets and tea/coffee making facilities on the landing. There was no black tea though, which for an English lady... We ate in the restaurant in the evening....very nice food!

Located in Pöcking, this family-run hotel is only 1 km from scenic Lake Starnberg and 5 km from Starnberg city centre. It features free Wi-Fi, a sunny terrace and bicycle rental facilities. The people at reception desk were friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and equipped with a fan for the hot weather. The breakfast in the morning in the cozy dining room was top notch. We loved this place so much, we came back after a stay in 2012. Highly recommend.

The family-run Landgasthof zur Quelle offers simple rooms, free private parking and a traditional restaurant. It is situated in Seeshaupt-Magnetsried, just 5 km away from the Starnberger See Lake. The whole experience was a great delight!! Thank you to all involved in making our stay so special and unforgettable. We were made to feel very welcome. Home from home. The grill was so wonderfully done and the meals so tasty. The best steaks out. Master chef quality. The location excellent. So quiet and peaceful. Comfy mattress. Clean facilities. Near to tourist attractions.
