The Pension Johanna was small and quaint right opposite the river. The room was a good size with a little balcony. It was clean, and had a fan (which was needed in the hot weather!). The host was lovely and the continental breakfast was a good start to the day. 😊

The room appears to have been updated very recently to an excellent standard and the shower was extremely powerful. Good view of the rhein and the passing boat traffic.

Surrounded by picturesque countryside, Waldhaus Lahnstein offers a sunny beer garden, a children's playground and a barbecue area. We stayed in family room. It was exactly same as the its photo, very big and super clean.. furniture were not old as stated in the previous reviews. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, everything was very fresh..we also had our dinner in the restaurant and it was also super delicious. My rating is 10/10. If you are looking for an accommodation in this area, this is a perfect choice.
