The house belongs to a wonderful couple — Donna Marie and George — who have been together for 56 years and still look full of energy and joy together, creating the same atmosphere in the house. Surrounded by calming countryside, this place can serve as a nice weekend destination for those who live in Cyprus cities, as was our case. It is also worth visiting for those interested in local cuisine — I recommend ordering dinner at the place (better to request it in advance), as it is tasty and represents Cypriot cuisine very well.

The Breakfast was fabulous, Simi created an absolute feast using local ingredients and even created little bite sized appetizers with cured salmon and prawns, when she discovered I liked fish. The breakfast was served in the beautiful Paula's Courtyard at the rear of the property and was so extensive that we did not eat lunch each day! It was our first visit to Cyprus and Simi was extremely helpful in providing advice on where to visit, including how to cross the checkpoint in Nicosia to get to Girne on the local bus. It was wonderful to sit and chat over breakfast, learning about Cyprus and Simi's extensive travels and life, this lady has lived! We will definitely be back.
