Over breakfast (which he brought in every morning) he would stay and chat to give us invaluable tips on which beaches to go to, where to eat and drink, and what to see. He organised boat trips and car hire for us at no extra cost, and was always doing more than necessary to make us comfortable. A true gent, and so proud of his country, Sidney is a living advert for Curaçao.

The room was very tidy and looked beautiful. The bathroom was modern and the shower amazing. The swimming pool was as beautiful as in the pictures. Great recommendations for food from the host. Make sure to book Friday night dinner at Shelterrock in advance. We were to late unfortunately.

I will definitely stay here again, feels cozy and warm.

Wonderful location, quiet, a Centrum Supermarket at walkable distance, and with a car not too far of Willemstad and Kokomo Beach. The garden is AMAZING, the pool is very nice and you can use it anytime you want. The Hummingbird Studio has all the amenities you may think of, and the name is very appropriate, we have seen hummingbirds while staying outside. Karin and Rene are wonderful hosts and they also have two adorable dogs (in case you left your pooch at home and you miss it).
