From there, a local can come and pick you up for 300 ESC, or you can walk (it's absolutely safe, the locals are friendly and helpful, location on the map is accurate). They can also drop you to the airport for 1500 ESC, and it just takes 30mins to reach. Ja knows how to cook for vegetarians, too. She is a witty and interesting host to talk to. I am still amazed at the purity and simplicity of this place, and hope to be back one day.

The staff gave us the best service we received in all Cabo Verde, always with a smile and willing to help. The staff was truly friendly and definitely made our experience a lot better. The live music was very pleasant. They played for more than 2 hours, with different singers, making our evening memorable and very entertaining. The culture of Cabo Verde was well portrayed in every corner, which we enjoyed very much. The food was delicious. At dinner we had amazing starters and went for the meat, that was real well cooked. The breakfast was the cherry on the top of the cake, with a good variety of options and even the option to ask for cooked eggs or omelets. Our stay was delightful and the room was clean and very comfortable. Good and modern bathroom. TV and air conditioning functioning really well. The facility is well located, 10 minutes away from the airport and less than 5 minutes from the city centre.
