Though I stayed for only one night, there was still enough time to feel charm of the place and warmth and friendliness of the hosts. Room and bathroom were comfortable, everything was very new and clean, the place is very quiet and felt very safe. Sleeping was of the best quality. Breakfast was excellent, too.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Roof, it was the perfect base to explore the town and a great alternative to a resort-style all inclusive, which isn’t really our thing. It is very well located and everything is easily reached on foot - the beach is two minutes walk away. The roof terrace is lovely and secluded, and the small pool is great for those wanting a break from the beach. Everything in the apartment was quite new and the beds were really comfy, with great air conditioning and a small kitchenette, should you need it. There are lots of plugs in the apartment, and we also had a small balcony. JC, the owner, is an incredible host and will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect - a 10/10. He organised any trips we wanted to do, and was always immediately contactable. Nothing was too much trouble, he’s a very helpful guy and it was nice to see an owner who takes a lot of pride in their property and guests’ experience. Due to our room being empty the next day, we were also given the benefit of a later check out to meet our flight time, which was hugely appreciated. Merci pour ce super séjour!

Thank you Isabel. The room and the bed was big and very comfortable. The common bathroom is very clean. Espargos is an excellent place to discover the island Sal, the Blue Eye an the Salinas de Pedra de Lume are very close. For a next time visit I would take Rooming house without any hesitation.

Annya is the perfect host – incredibly helpful and always ready to assist whenever needed. She went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
